When to close
Your pool
Close your pool once the water stays below 12 to 15 °C, usually between late September and late October in Quebec. The rule is not a date, it is the water temperature.
When to close?
Below 12 to 15 °C, algae stop growing and the water keeps all winter under the cover. That is the right time to close.
Above that threshold, warm water and organic matter lead to green water in the spring. Too late, and frost threatens your plumbing.

Why 12 to 15 °C?
Below that threshold, algae stop growing and the water keeps all winter. We close pools from September 1 to December 15, depending on temperature and availability.
Our advice
Book your date in September and choose a day between late September and late October. The closing is done in a single visit, and your date is confirmed online in 2 minutes.
Do I need to be home during the closing?
No. We only need access to the yard and the equipment. The day before, we confirm a four-hour time window.
How much does a closing cost?
Above-ground: $179.99, $419.99 or $599.99. Inground: $279.99, $519.99 or $799.99. See the price guide
