Understanding the price

Why do prices vary?

No two closings take the same amount of work. The type of pool, the water condition and the equipment installed change the time spent on site.

At Piscines VP, prices are posted in advance : you know exactly what you will pay before you book. Options are added only if you ask for them.

An inground pool has buried plumbing lines that must be fully purged and protected with antifreeze. If a line holds water and freezes, it can crack, and the repair requires digging. That is why closing an inground pool costs more. Details (in French): above-ground closing and inground closing.

A pool cleaned before winter is much easier to open in the spring. Cleaning is included in the Premium package.

The line pressure test finds a leak before winter makes it worse. Valued at $450, it is included in the Prestige package, with a written report.

Not always. Check whether the date is confirmed in advance or the company calls you back later, whether the closing is done in a single visit, and whether winterizing products are included.
